Dr. Margie's Healthy Hot Toddy

You'll need:

  • Fresh Ginger Root - peeled and thinly sliced
  • Raw, Organic Honey
  • Fresh Lemon Juice

Add all ingredients to either an individual mug or tea pot

If making an individual serving, use 5-6 slices ginger, half a lemon juiced, and 1 teaspoon honey.

Pour hot water over the ingredients and allow to steep. The longer it steeps, the more potent the ginger flavor will be.

Enjoy!

Drink these daily for overall health and wellness! Ginger has some of the best natural anti-inflammatory properties, lemon juice is a great cleanser/detoxifier, and raw honey has amazing antimicrobial abilities.

If your body needs more support, drink these three times a day.


Gratitude Exercise

Write down a list of all of things you are grateful for in your life. Use a pen and paper - do not type this in your phone. (there is something very powerful about putting pen to paper and how our body responds to it). The first name on the list must be YOURS b/c nothing else is possible without you. Write down the qualities about yourself you admire and appreciate - smart, loving, organized, etc. Then start listing all of the people you are grateful for in your life and then list stuff (cars, house, etc.). Keep this list handy and carry it with you throughout your day. Read the list daily - once in the morning and once and night before bed. Read the list again if you have any times of increased stress throughout your day. Each time you read the list, read it outloud - it has a more powerful effect on your conscious.
